1979

Foundation of engineering company Maidl und Maidl (IMM) through Prof. Dr.-Ing. B. Maidl in Bochum.

1997

Dr. Ing. U. Maidl transfers from Bilfinger & Berger to IMM; Buildup of international business.

2004

Dr. U. Maidl becomes Managing Director at IMM.

2009

Spin-off from IMM and founding of Maidl Tunnelconsultants through Ulrich Maidl and Prof. Dr. Dr. Bernhard Maidl with offices in Munich and Duisburg.

2025

Maidl Tunnelconsultants has been acquired by the Dutch company Witteveen+Bos as part of a mutually desired solution.
